On Wednesday 26 September Russell Advocaten will organize an interactive lunch meeting featuring two workshops.
1. “Living and working in Europe”
During this workshop, the main topics to be discussed are;
- Residence permits for work (employee, highly skilled migrant or EU-blue card?)
- Work permits (when and how?)
- Recognized sponsorship for employers (pro’s and con’s)
- Status indications on identity cards for Embassies and Consulates
2. “How to deal with ill employees”
During this workshop, the main topics to be discussed are:
- Medical statements and reporting ill (employee handbook)
- Obligations of the employer and employee
- Company doctor / Arbo service (support and re-integration)
- The role of the UWV / second opinion
- Payment of salary (70% during 104 weeks) / possibilities to suspend or stop salary payments
- Termination during illness
